West Hills Hospital & Medical Center is the primary resource for medical care in the West Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley. Our hospital has been serving the community for more than 50 years with a number of specialized service lines that bring quality care closer to home. Among our services you’ll find orthopedic surgery, critical care, women’s diagnostic services, and an expansive emergency department with helipad access. In addition to our clinical care, we offer community resources with classes, online resources, and our H2U program.
Driving to Our Hospital
From the south, take US-101 to exit 27C for Shoup Avenue. Use the right land to Merge onto Ventura Blvd, and turn right onto Shoup Ave. Stay straight on Shoup Ave, and turn left onto Sherman Way. Turn right onto Medical Center Dr., and you will see us on the right.
From the north, take CA-118 to exit 34 for CA-27S/Topanga Canyon Blvd. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto CA-27. Continue straight to stay on CA-27, and then turn right onto Roscoe Blvd. Turn left onto Fallbrook Ave, and then make a right onto Sherman Way. Turn right onto Medical Center Dr., and you will see us on the right.
West Hills is a neighborhood in the western San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles known for its affluence and older population. The percentage of residents over the age of 35 is higher in West Hills than anywhere else in Los Angeles County. The West Hills area has a rich history with centuries of Native American inhabitance and a significant role in Spanish history as part of the Mission San Fernando Rey de España.
There are several notable historical landmarks in the West Hills—including three ranch properties and the home of a silent film star. The community also features a high concentration of neighborhood parks and large shopping centers.
